How to Use Binder – Adhesive?

Surface Preparation:
  • The surface must be clean, free from dust, dirt, and moisture.
  • A primer (base coat) should be applied for optimal adhesion.
Mixing Preparation:
  • EPDM or SBR granules should be mixed with 18% – 20% binder.
  • The mixture should be stirred until it reaches a homogeneous consistency.
Application:
  • The prepared mixture is spread on the surface using a trowel.
  • It is compacted with a roller or an electric compaction machine.
Curing Process:
  • Depending on weather conditions, curing takes 24 – 48 hours.
  • If UV-resistant binder is used, there will be no color change under sunlight.
